Our Team

Angie is a former lawyer and has many years’ experience in legal and professional services, education and training, both in Australia and Asia, having lived in Singapore and worked across the region. Angie’s role is focused on growing the College of Law Asia and its international reach. Angie holds and LLB (Hons), LLM; and a MBA from Melbourne Business School.

James has been the Director of Programs for the College of Law Asia since its inception, and has overseen the development of curriculum and programs. James has many years’ experience as a lawyer in both private practice and government before joining the College of Law Asia. As the Director of Programs is responsible for the delivery of the College’s award programs and student experience and manages key strategic partnerships. James graduated with an LLB and LLM from a top New Zealand law school.

Raphael is a Partner at Lee Hashammuddin Allen & Gledhill, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and the Director of the LLM ASEAN+6 Cross-border Legal Practice. Raphael’s deep experience in cross-border work throughout the region ensures that the program is always focused on real world learning that can be applied immediately back to practice. Raphael has been a advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya since 1986, a Notary Public since 2007 and a Registered Trade Mark Agent since 1998. Raphael completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the UK.

Mabel Han is the Student Liaison Officer for the College of Law Asia and is the first point of contact for our clients and partners. Mabel’s background is in international development for higher education and has worked across functions such as student advisory, enrolments and international student recruitment at a large Sydney university. Mabel holds a masters degree in international business and is fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
